Bean Point is in the city of Anna Maria, at the north end of the island. It is a different part of the island from Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach, so check your route from the rental rather than assuming it is a short walk.

The local tourism board’s Bean Point page describes the beach and its views. Use official local information and signs on arrival to check current access restrictions or closures.

Identify a public beach entrance before setting out. Respect private driveways and homes, and read parking signs carefully rather than following where other cars happen to be parked.

Bring water, sun protection and what you need for the time you expect to spend outside. Check facilities in advance if toilets, accessible access or somewhere to buy food are essential to your visit.

A scenic beach is not a guarantee of safe swimming. Read posted warnings, watch for changing weather and follow local advice about currents and water conditions. Keep children supervised and do not assume that lifeguards are present.
