Located on Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island, Skinny’s Place is a traditional family owned and run burger restaurant. Advertising great burgers and frosted mugs, Skinny’s is a great place to treat the family to a homemade burger with chilled drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the people are welcoming and friendly, not to mention passionate about their home cooked classic American cuisine. From August through to January they open six days of the week. Tuesday to Sunday Skinny’s Place is open from 11 in the morning until 8 in the evening and welcomes walk-in diners. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and bacon burgers are the top choices, but they do a variety of culinary combinations to whet the appetite. Alcoholic and soft drinks are served to compliment the food and hot boxed orders are available for those wanting to take food away.

The Chateau

The award-winning restaurant The Chateau can be found at Waterline Marina Resort on Anna Maria Island serving high quality fresh food to die for. Their popular tv show ‘Summer Rush’ has created a demand for the French/American cuisine and romantic dining. Success and great food have led them to the launch of their second restaurant on the island, soon to be at Sarasota Bay. Book a table and see what they have to offer. From delicious starters, soups and appetizers through to grilled meats and juicy seafoods, the menu is extravagant and makes the mouth water. Opening seven days of the week, brunches are from 10:30am until 2pm on a Saturday and Sunday. Happy hour is 2pm until 5pm and then the dinners are served between 5pm and 10pm every day. Table reservations are advisable due to the restaurant being popular. If you can’t get a table, then they also offer a delivery service for food which can be ordered online. Sadly, there are no pets allowed at the restaurant.

The Feast Restaurant

Together with his mom, they have formed the perfect business partnership doing the jobs that they love on an island paradise setting. Both are social butterflies with the passion for baking and making delicious food for their community. Opening six days of the week, Scott’s Deli opens on Mondays through to Saturdays from 9:00am until 6:00pm. As well as the deli shop open to the public, they also cater for private functions or party celebrations. With deliveries made anywhere north of Cortez Road on Anna Maria Island, Scott’s Deli is able to bring their delicious food straight to your door. And... for residents of Holmes Beach, delivery is free too.

The Anchor Inn

Located on Gulf drive in Holmes Beach, The Anchor Inn is a friendly place to stop for a range of activities on Anna Maria Island. Owned and ran by a local family, the Anchor Inn is a laid-back old-style smoking and dive bar where everybody is welcome. Vacationers and locals can play darts and games of pool, watch sports on the large TV’s or simply enjoy drinks and light meals. There are multiple pool tables, TV’s and dart boards so there’s always room to play at The Anchor Inn. Food served is bar style food. Such as pizza, fries, corn dogs and pretzels. Enough for a light bite or a tasty snack whilst you are enjoying a few drinks with friends or family. The Anchor Inn has a late-night licence and stays open until the early hours. Plus, it opens seven days of the week and every day of the year... just in case you need that social drink. They open early, at 07:00 each morning and do not close until 03:00 in the morning. Come and join the fun, but when leaving do remember that Anna Maria Island is a residential island and working local people will be sleeping.

Vinny's Italian Kitchen

Duffy’s are still operating on an ageing, but well-seasoned grill with freshly ground meat. Hence the mouthwatering flavour and huge popularity of Duffy’s world-famous burgers. To match the public's desire for the ultimate burger, Duffy’s Tavern serve it with an ice-cold beer. A winning combination in a climate such as that on Anna Maria Island. Once you have been to Duffy’s Tavern and tasted her freshly cooked burger with an ice-cold beer... I'm afraid you won’t want to try anywhere else. Ideally located nearby to the beach, the tavern sees a lot of trade and all customers seem to leave satisfied and well fed. Duffy’s Tavern is closed on a Tuesday but is open every other day of the week. On Mondays through to Saturdays they are open from 11:00am and close at 8:00pm. Sunday is a later opening time of 12 noon and closing time is 8:00pm.
