St. Pete Beach vacation rentals
Stay close to the Gulf, with time for a beach morning and dinner nearby. St. Pete Beach is a separate destination from downtown St. Petersburg. Start with the beach neighborhood you prefer, then check each rental’s address and availability before planning the rest of your trip.
Where to base your stay
Pass-a-Grille
At the southern end of St. Pete Beach, Pass-a-Grille has beach access along Gulf Way and shops and places to eat around 8th Avenue. Look at the actual walk from a rental to the places you will use most. If you plan to drive to the beach, check parking signs and current payment arrangements.
Gulf Boulevard and the central beach area
Gulf Boulevard is a useful reference when comparing addresses. A rental on the inland side of the road can mean a different beach routine from a building with its own Gulf-side access. Ask which crossing and beach entrance guests use, particularly if you will have a stroller or beach wagon.
Upham Beach and the Corey Avenue area
Consider the northern part of St. Pete Beach if Upham Beach or the Corey Avenue area is on your itinerary. Check how the rental connects to both; being near one does not put you beside the other.
Use the tourism board’s St. Pete Beach visitor information and beach parking guide to plan public access. These areas describe the destination, not a promise of rental availability in every neighborhood.
Choose the property, then check the route
A condo can suit guests who want a manageable space and shared facilities. A house may suit a group that needs more separation between bedrooms. Compare the actual layout, outdoor space and laundry arrangements instead of deciding from the guest capacity alone.
For any building, check parking, stairs or elevator access and the route from the entrance to the unit. Ask about pool access and whether beach equipment is provided. A waterfront description could refer to a bay or canal; confirm the setting if your priority is walking directly onto a Gulf beach.
St. Pete Beach and St. Petersburg are different places. Before booking for a downtown event, map the journey from the rental to the venue. If your priority is spending each day on the sand, keep the beach address central to your search.
Plan beach days and city outings
You can leave some days open for the beach and set aside another for downtown St. Petersburg. Check transport routes and return options before committing to a car-free evening. Do not assume that a rental’s location means a transit stop is within a comfortable walk for your group.
Compare Tampa International and St. Pete-Clearwater International flights together with the journey to the rental. These are separate airports. Give a transfer provider the exact airport and property address, and confirm luggage space or child seats in advance.
If you drive, confirm whether your booking includes an assigned space and whether extra vehicles are permitted. Keep beach parking separate from accommodation parking in your plans. Event days and bridge journeys can change how much time you need, so check live traffic before leaving.
Check the terms for your dates
Minimum stays, arrival days and building rules vary. Enter your full travel dates to see which properties fit, then review the complete price and cancellation policy. Ask about any registration process before arrival, especially if your group will reach the property at different times.
Anna Maria Rentals includes properties managed by Florida Vacation Homes and other professional local companies. Check the manager named for your chosen home and keep the contact in your booking confirmation handy during the stay.
St. Pete Beach rental questions
Is St. Pete Beach the same as downtown St. Petersburg?
No. St. Pete Beach is on the Gulf coast. Downtown St. Petersburg is a separate city destination on the bay side. Compare the actual journey if you want to visit both.
Is every rental within walking distance of the beach?
Check each address and the permitted access route. A beach-area search or a water-view photo does not establish a short walk or private beach access.
Can I stay for a weekend?
Enter your dates and review the minimum stay for the individual rental. Availability and rental rules can differ between homes and buildings.
Who helps during my stay?
Use the property manager’s contact provided in your reservation and arrival instructions. The company managing the home depends on the property you book.
