Anna Maria Island Rentals for Larger Groups
Travelling together works best when the house suits the way your group lives. Look beyond the maximum guest count: who needs a quiet bedroom, whether everyone can manage stairs and where you will eat together all matter when choosing a larger rental.
Homes to compare
Happy Place
A canalfront home in Holmes Beach with six bedrooms, space for up to 12 guests and a private screened pool. The separate guest apartment gives part of the group its own kitchen and living space. The listing requires a 30-night minimum stay.
Island Life Villa
Five bedrooms accommodate up to 10 guests across a main house and attached guest residence, rented together as one property. There are two kitchens, a waterfront deck and a heated pool. A seven-night minimum and seasonal arrival rules apply; check the calendar for your trip.
Read the layout before counting beds
Happy Place includes a separate guest apartment. Island Life Villa combines a main house and attached guest residence, with two kitchens and living spaces. These arrangements can give part of your party more independence, but check how the spaces connect.
Ask which bedrooms are reached by stairs, where children will sleep and whether each household is comfortable with the layout. A property’s guest limit does not guarantee a separate bedroom for every couple or a single dining table seating everyone.
Coordinate dates and vehicles
Happy Place requires at least 30 nights. Island Life Villa lists a seven-night minimum, with seasonal arrival rules. Agree on a workable length of stay before the group settles on a house.
The listings state parking limits of eight cars at Happy Place and four at Island Life Villa. Confirm the current arrangements, vehicle sizes and any trailer restrictions before planning several separate arrivals.
A shared holiday, with clear house rules
A larger home is not automatically an event venue. Do not plan a wedding, party or gathering beyond the permitted occupancy without explicit approval. Review the property’s rules for visitors, quiet hours and outdoor areas.
Give everyone the same arrival information and nominate one person to coordinate questions with the manager. For meals out, contact restaurants ahead of time about your party size. Our dining guide is a starting point, rather than confirmation that a venue can accommodate a particular group.
Questions before you book
Can these homes sleep more than the stated maximum?
No. Plan within the published limit: up to 12 at Happy Place and up to 10 at Island Life Villa. Confirm the complete party, including children, with the manager.
Are Happy Place and Happy Place 2 separate houses?
They are alternative listing configurations of the same home. Do not count them as two separate properties for a larger group.
Can we hold a party at the rental?
Do not assume so. Check the rental agreement and obtain explicit permission for any proposed event before booking.
